Farquhar (Editor); Paperback   History of the Sierra Nevada by Francis P. Farquhar; Paperback Farquhar does a great job of describing the challenges and beauty of exploring the High Sierras in a very readable fashion. The thrill of the Sierras comes through. The key players are here as they map, explore, and discover the range of light.   Treasury of the Sierra Nevada This is a great collection of Sierra history in the words of the people who were there. Fun and easy reading, while conveying much about the Sierras. Exploring the Highest Sierra by James Gregory Moore; Paperback Outstanding for the exploration, mapping, and college text level geology of the Sierras. A big book with lots of old and new drawings and photos.
